Synopsis

La MaMa ETC presents a dramatic adaptation by David Willinger of the novel The Wound written by Belgian playwright/novelist, Paul Willems. The core of the tale is a psychic lynching by the entire community. This fairy-tale is about human cruelty set in the remote village of Flanders. Through the power of the mind, the central character, an innkeeper named Maria, undermines the destiny of a sympathetic young neighbor, Suzanne, and ultimately causes her demise.
