3 Weeks of new plays by our favorite playwrights. All written on the MBTA !
Over the first two weeks Mill 6 will have 10 World Premieres. Each Saturday they'll take five playwrights and put them on a random subway line of Boston's own MBTA, knowing only their casts and directors. They board their Subway Car (red, orange, green, blue and silver) and write a play set on their line. At the opposite end their director boards and joins them for the trip back.
They'll have three days to rehearse, tech and dress and Wednesday to Saturday night the shows go up!
The second week they do it all over again with new writers, directors and actors.
But there's more! Every night the audience gets to vote on their favorites. For the closing week, October 1-4 Mill 6 presents the winners in the "Best Of" Final Week.
