The Prince Music Theater will present a new version of the John Kander-Fred Ebb musical revue The World Goes Round, September 20-October 12. No casting has been announced.
Daniel Kutner will direct the production, which will feature choreography by Wendy Seyb, music direction by Collin Maier, and music supervision by Stan Tucker. The show was originally conceived by Scott Ellis, Susan Stroman and David Thompson. The revue will include such classic songs from the pair as "All That Jazz," "New York, New York," "Cabaret," "Maybe This Time," and "Mr. Cellophane," along with material that was not originally used, including songs from their recently produced musical The Visit.
In addition, the Prince has announced its season for its Morgan's Cabaret; it will feature Andrea Marcovicci (September 17-28); Steve Ross (October 29-November 9); Eddie Bruce (February 11-22); Christine Andreas (March 11-22); and Barbara Brussell (April 29-May 10).
