The last Broadway musical of the season, Glory Days -- which begins previews on April 22 at Circle in the Square for an official opening May 6 opening -- has been nothing short of a labor of love for its young creators, Nick Blaemire and James Gardiner, and its four young stars, Steven Booth, Andrew C. Call, Adam Halpin, and Jesse JP Johnson, who portray a quartet of high school friends who find their lives have taken different paths after graduation. The show was first produced earlier this season at Virginia's Signature Theatre, where artistic director Eric Schaeffer has helped shepherd its move to the Great White Way. TheaterMania recently got a sneak peek at the show and had a chance to talk to Schaeffer and the cast about this remarkable journey.
