The production, which will open officially on March 8, will be directed by Joy Carlin.
Clark's two-hander involves an older widow and widower who fall in love between baseball games and thunderstorms. Her other plays include The Bewitching Hour, Banner, and Secrets of a Soccer Mom.
Grassle's stage credits include the Broadway productions of The Gingham Dog, Butterflies Are Free, and Sweet Sue; she is best known for playing Caroline Ingalls on the hit television series Little House on the Prairie.
